As part of the “Unexpected Good” initiative, DZI volunteers took part in improving the outdoor area of Mir Nursery in the town of Lyaskovets by painting and refreshing the playground equipment.

With great energy, enthusiasm, and a desire to contribute to the local community, the participants transformed the space where the town’s youngest residents play every day. Swings, climbing frames, and other playground facilities were given a fresh coat of paint and a more welcoming appearance, creating an even more enjoyable environment for children’s games and activities.

The initiative is part of “Unexpected Good”, DZI’s large-scale volunteer campaign marking the company’s 80th anniversary through dozens of missions across Bulgaria. Each mission aims to leave a positive impact on the communities where the company’s employees, agents, and partners live and work.

The renovation of the playground in Lyaskovets is another example of how collective efforts can turn good intentions into meaningful change. Thanks to the volunteers, the area is now more colorful, welcoming, and enjoyable for children.

Through this mission, the participants did more than simply refresh a playground; they brought more smiles and created a better environment for the youngest members of the community.
